PEER EDUCATORS TRAINING PROGRAM

Musawo Betty Care and Research Centre(MBCRC) is pleased to announce its Peer Educators Training Service, designed to equip selected young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to educate and support their fellow students and peers.
Peer educators play an important role in creating informed, supportive and healtheir communities. Through this training, participants will gain practical skills to share accurate information, communicate effectively, identify challenges affecting young people, and guide their peers toward appropriate support and services.
Key Training Areas
The Peer Educators Training will cover areas including:
- Sexual and reproductive health education
- Adolescent health and development
- Life skills and positive decision - making
- Mental health and psychosocial support
- Communication and peer counselling skills
- Leadership and teamwork
- Financial literacy and responsible saving
Our Peer Educator Model
Musawo Betty Care and Research Centre promotes a Peer - to - peer learning approach, where each trained peer educator is encouraged and equipped to reach and train at least 10 fellow young people. This creates a multiplier effect, allowing knowledge and positive messages to reach many more young people within schools and communities.

- Youth and community organizations
- NGOs and development partners
- Youth clubs and community groups
- Programs working with adolescents and young people.
